BHAGAVAD RAMANUJA stayed at Srirangam for Longtime doing nithya kainkaryam to Lord Ranganatha. He became well known throughout the country. All devotees used to visit Ranganatha nad Ramanuja alike when they come to Srirangam. They used to refer Ramanuja as Emberumanar. Ramanuja promissed three jobs to Yamunacharya and made his three open fingures close. First of these is SRIBHASYAM. T fullfil this he has to visist Kshmir Sarada peetham and study BODHAYANA VRUTTHI. Ramanuja did that with his close disciples. KURESAN used to read this work at nights thoroughly.
Ramanuja asked the book from pandits at Saradapeetham to carry it to Srirangam and complete the bhashya rachana. But they refused to share it casing Ramanuja worry. Kuresan told Bhagavan there is no need for the book as he already read that and knew every thing by heart. Ramanuja is surprised and was overwhelmed with joy that he got such a great disciple with him. Ramanuja returned Sriranagam and started Sribhasyam. Ther ideal Guru and Sishya s had an agreement while the work is in progress. Ramanuja will speak on and Kuresan has to keep writing. When Kuresan feels a contradictory meaning Kuresan can stop writing.
After some time, Ramanuja was giving explination about "GYATHRUTHWAM and SESHATHWAM". Jeeva has to learn thar it is Sesham (reminder) of Bhagavan. This kind of knowledge is supreme. KURESAN stopped writing. Even when Ramanuja continued Kuresan did not continue writing. He did not reply a word but kept MUM. Bhagavan got angry and dismissed him fromthe writing works. Others sishyas were curious how and why Kuresan could behave like that. A fewdays passed and Remanuja over heared a conversation of Kuresa and few other disciples. That discussion was as follows.
Kuresa bluntly argued with sishyas, "I am a properti of my Guru Ramanuja. I have no worry how he uses me". Ramanuja immediately realised he over emphasised SESHATHWAM which is incorrect and therefore Kuresan stopped writing. He embrased his beloved disciple, Kuresan and rectified the explanation accordingly. Thus KURESA demonstrated sheshathwa gnanam to bhagavan as it is far superior compared to GYATHRUTHWAM. Sheshathwam is means that we are His and He can use our body, mind soul, enrgies and similar as He wishes.
Kuresan was a MUKHIYA of a village. he used to visit entire village at nights and learn about difficulties of his people. One night he listened to a brahmin couple, parents of a beautiful daughter, by name Andallamma. The conversation summrises as, Andallamma is to be married, but who marries her will die soon. Knowing this who will be marrying her. Kuresan left the place, thought for a while. If he continues his SANYAS and still marry Andallamma, that will not contradict JATHAKAM and he will be able to avoid grief to the brahmin parents.
He executed this plan after convincing Andallamma and her parents. They are happy over the marriage. Bhagavad Ramanuja also blessed the couple.
RAMANUJA restartedSribhashyam, on completion took this to KASHMIR Sarada peetham to demonstrate the supremacy. BHAGAVATHI SARADA came out from her temples and welcomed RAMANUJA. She asked Bhagavan "how he eloborated - YATHA KAPYASAM PUNDAREEKA MEVA MAKSHINEE". Ramanuja hubly folded his hands to explain "Mother you know every thing. I am more delighted to tell you again. These mean - That which is born deep in waters , with a strong stem and coming out and blosming from rays of SUN (who drinks water) has wide petals. My Lord has such beautiful eyes. Mother Bharathi is pleased and blessed him with title SRI BHASHYA
KARAR, took the scriptures on Her head and presented him LAKSHMI HAYAGREEVA idol for daily worship.
