RAMANUJA - AVATHARA VISESHAM

Kuresan, who was blided by KULOTTHUGA, was waiting at Srirangam for return of BHAGAVAD RAMANUJA. Oneday Kuresan was sprinkling water infront of the Ashram and Thadeeya Sekara was passing by. Drops of water spilled over Tadeeya Sekhara, who is a scholar and Vishunu bhakta. Kuresan later pleaded pardon for his blindness. But the later did not listen but scolded Kuresan. Tadeeya Sekhara died and went to NARAKAM (Hell). Yama asked him to go back as he had no rights to punish Vishnu devotees. Yama relealed he was brought to hell because Tadeeya did BHAAGAVATHA APACHARAM to KURESAN, which is worse than BHAGAVAD apacharam. But by the Tadeeya was back to earth his mortal body was ashes. Thadeeya Sekhara then went into the body of a pigeon (dove) at Srirangam and craving to take pardon from Kuresan. RAMANUJA returned to Srirangam after 12 years of exile at Yadugiri. Kuresan and Ramanuja were together again at Srirangam. Ramanuja recognised Tadeeya Sekhara in the form of pigeon and requested Kuresan to give him MOKSHAM. Kuresan said "Khshanto asi Kshantho asi" and pated the pigeon. A divya vimanam appeared from skies and Tadeeeya Sekhara was taken to heaven amidst blessings from Acharyas.

While Bhagavad Ramanuja was leaving Yadugiri, all the devotees were sad to bid farewell. Bhagavan make a stone image of himself, embraced the idol to give life into it. When any one calls "RAMANUJA" the stone idol replied "ADIYEN". all the swamy s are happy and started worshing this at Yadugiri. Twomore such images are there one at Srirangam and Second at sri Perumbudur.

BHAGAVAD RAMANUJA was deeply in sarrow to loo at Kuresan blinded. His sacrifice was beyond any love. Bhagavan told Kuresan, "Let us go to Kanchi Varada, and pray for your sight to be restored". Although Kuresan was very happy and content with association of RAMANUJA. However as Ramanuja said he agreed to go. At Kancheepuram VARADARAJA stavam was chanted by both Ramanuja and Kuresan, the ideal Guru - Sishya. Lord VARADA was pleased and asked Kuresan his wish. Kuresa requested VISION for him to see Lord His most beatiful form. He also requested to grant the same booon to NAALURAN, who is pricipally responsible for his blindness. VARADA RAJA was immensely pleased with Kuresa's enormous good will. Lord Vrada raja gave moksham to "ALL WHO ARE RELATED TO KURESA". Listening this RAMANUJA started dancing. He was removed of the fear that he may go Hell, due to his disclosing TIRU MANTHRAM, now because of Varada Raja's boon and his relation to Kuresa Ramanuja is assured of Lord's Sannidhi. This was excellent sight to all devotees then at Kanchi.

Ramanuja sent Kuresan again to Lord Varada raja, he should ask for his vision to be completely restored to normal. But Kuresan was reluctant to see other world. He felt seeing Lord and his Acharya is good enough for any one. But he went as Ramanuja insisted. Lord VARADA gave him vision to see Him and Ramanuja. Kuresa was happy and told Lord, "You are Father, who knew my heart's feeling". To demonstrate as Ramanuja touched different ornaments of Lord Varadan and Kuresan narrated them exactly. Everyone highly satified.

Ramanuja was chanting TIRUPPAVAI every day as part of his daily worship. Thus he is called TIRUPPAVAI JEEYAR. He aslo studied ANDAL's Nacchiyar Tirumoli. In that 9 th Patthu, 6 th paasuram summarise - ANDAL wanted to give Lord HUNDRED bowls of Paayasam and whether Sriyah Pathi will talke this. RAMANUJA felt he should organise on behalf of TAHI ANFDAL the said Naivedyam. Udayavar went to TIRUMALIRUMSOLAI MALAI and organised festival for making this ANDAL's wish as reality. From there he went to SRIVILLI PUTTHUR and had darshan of ANDAL. Thai Andalo called him as ANNA, as he fullfilled the desire of her as if he was her elder broother.
